Why Being A Romantic Isn’t Hopeless « Thought... →

I need to believe that life has a million romances in store for me, the ones that give me children and stress headaches and something to do with my 401K, the ones that keep me out drinking way past my...

Sometimes I feel like I have no one to talk to....

I told my cousin that I got Jane Eyre and Atlas...
He goes, “the books?”
And suddenly I realized they were, in fact, both books. I have read Atlas Shrugged but not Jane Eyre. I took AP Lang instead of AP Lit, back in the day.
“No,” I said. “The movies.”
“Oh. I guess I won’t tell you my opinion on Jane Eyre then.”

I was able to touch my toes in yoga class tonight.
If you know me, you’ll know I haven’t ever been able to touch my toes.
I am very happy.
Heard back from another PhD program today.
Second rejection out of four schools. Waiting on the other two now. Out of my hands.

2. Remember Facts About Other People This ties into ‘be a good listener’ which I think...
